Icelandic squad announced

IcelandIcelandThe national coach of Iceland, Ólafur Jóhannesson, announced the 22-men-squad for the upcoming games against the Netherlands at home and Macedonia away in Skopje. Normally, the biggest name on the list is the 30-years-old Barcelona player Eiður Guðjohnsen. There are also 7 players who are playing in Norway, 5 in England and only one from the domestic league.

The match between Macedonia and Iceland will be played on June 10, 2009 at the National Arena Philip II in Skopje at 17.45 CET under the hot Macedonian sun.
