Sumulikoski linked with Preston again

Velice SumulikoskiVelice Sumulikoski Preston North End have sent an offer to Ipswich Town for the Macedonian midfielder Velice Sumulikoski again after in March this year he was unhappy with former manager Jim Magilton who blocked a loan move to Preston.

Velice joined Ipswich Town in January 2008 on a two-and-a-half year deal after. He made an immediate impression, but late last year he was dropped by the former manager Magilton. Preston along with Watford and QPR were the teams who were interested to loan the player, but Magilton didn't allow a move to a club competing with Ipswich for a place in the Championship play-offs.

According to the rumors, current Ipswich manager agreed to let Sumulikoski go and the transfer can take place as soon as the terms are agreed between the player and Preston North End.

Velice Sumulikoski joined Ipswich Town from Turkish side Bursaspor in January 2008 for a fee of £500,000, signing a contract until June 2010. Since then, Sumulikoski has made 33 starts and 10 sub appearances, scoring once. The 28-years-old midfielder has 60 appearances and one scored goal for he Macedonian national team.
