The first part of the 2009/10 season has ended, but the problems continued. Vardar is the third team that boycotts the Football Federation of Macedonia and they didn't played their match against Metalurg today.
The situation culminated on Thursday as FFM approved the cancellation of Vardar's contract with their most talented player Stefan Ristovski with illegal documents. The document with which he was released from the club was signed by the former president of Vardar, Bojan Zahariev, who has resigned 2 months ago and he is not eligible to represent the club. After the protests, the Football Federation of Macedonia have stopped the cancellation of the contract, but still Vardar's board decided to boycott the last round of the first part of the season and the players didn't appear on the stadium for today's match against Metalurg.
Couple of weeks ago Makedonija and Sloga started the boycott against FFM and they were suspended from all competitions and now Vardar has also turned against the federation, so only three matches were played this round.
Leaders Renova were close to be surprised on their ground by Horizont Turnovo.
