altalt Goran Pandev makes his Champions League debut with Inter, while Edin Nuredinoski kept a clean sheet for Ethnikos Achnas.

Champions League, Inter - Chelsea 2:1
Goran Pandev started on the bench for Inter and came on in the 67th minute replacing the ineffective Samuel Eto'o.  Inter shifted to a 4-2-3-1 formation when Pandev entered the game but he was pretty quiet for the most part.  He did have a chance in the 90th minute when Balotelli found him but Pandev couldn't get around Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, Ethniikos Achnas - APOEL 0:0
A great game by Edin Nuredinoski who kept a clean sheet for Ethnikos Achnas and made a great save in stoppage time to make sure his team got a point against the defending champions in Cyprus.  Fellow Macedonian Vance Sikov was solid in defense and played the entire game while the 3rd Macedonian on Ethnikos Slavco Georgievski did not play.  For APOEL, Boban Grncarov also did not play.

Belgium, Jupiler League, Cercle Brugge - Charleroi 1:0
Igor Gjuzelov was an unused substitute for Cercle Brugge.

Germany, Regionalliga West, Mainz II - Bochum II 0:0
Goran Slavkovski began on the bench for Bochum II and entered the game in the 90th minute.  Mainz II also have a Macedonian in 23 year old Aleksandar Petreski who started on the bench as well before he came on in the 63rd minute.
