The transfer saga surrounding Darko Tasevski continues as he is linked with another two teams in Crvena Zvezda and Anzhi.
It seems a transfer window can not pass without Darko Tasevski being linked to numerous clubs. That pattern continued as Bulgarian media linked Tasevski today to both Crvena Zvezda and Anzhi to go along with prior teams that were interested in Tasevski like Krasnodar and Metalurh Donetsk. Crvena Zvezda is one of the two major clubs in Serbia along with Partizan while Anzhi is an ambitious Russian club with a billionaire owner whose captain is the famous Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos.
The media in Bulgaria fully expect Levski to sell Tasevski this summer. Tasevski has one more year left on his contract but Levski is adamant on selling him this summer in order to get the best deal for Tasevski. The longer this drags on, the more it lowers Tasevski's price. Both sides have said that a change of scenery is probably best for both parties as Tasevski doesn't have anything left to prove at Levski and is looking for another challenge while Levski can use the money they receive for Tasevski to reinvest in the team. Tasevski has made a good name for himself in Bulgaria but he has been very inconsistent for the Macedonian national team and doesn't seem to have a consistent place on the team. For instance, he started for Macedonia this past March in the EURO 2012 qualifier against Ireland away but had a disappointing outing while he wasn't even called up for the match against Ireland at home earlier this month.
