Bajram Fetai has returned to Lyngby and it is expected he will sign a new contract over the next couple of days.
Bajram Fetai was on trial at German 2. Bundesliga club Dynamo Dresden and played in two friendlies for them but they did not offer him a contract so he then took some time off before he returned to Lyngby. He even played in a friendly for Lyngby today by entering the game in the 60th minute. Danish newspaper bold.dk reports that Fetai is expected to sign the contract with Lyngby as early as tomorrow so it is likely he will stay in Denmark. In the same newspaper, Fetai said he always wanted to stay with Lyngby but the two sides could not agree on a new deal so he went looking for a new club. However, now the sides have made strides and the contract should be signed soon.
Fetai joined Lyngby during the second half of the season last year and played an important role in the club avoiding relegation. He scored three goals in 13 appearances playing mostly as a winger. Fetai has spent most of his career in Denmark but he was born in Tetovo so he decided to represent Macedonia internationally. He has two caps for the Macedonian national team up to this point but is still looking for his first goal.
