According to Macedonian newspaper Dnevnik, Muarem Muarem has signed a 2 year deal to rejoin Rabotnicki.
The 22 year old Muarem Muarem will rejoin Rabotnicki for this upcoming season by signing a two year deal. Muarem formerly played for Rebotnicki before he left the club last year to join Turkish second division club Orduspor. He only spent one year with Orduspor before both parties agreed to mutually terminate his contract which made Muarem a free agent. Orduspor was eventually promoted to the top league in Turkey but the team decided not to bring back Muarem. He was a regular early in the season last year but lost his place once Orduspor decided to hire a new manager. The club felt Muarem had skill but they were worried about his physical strength and didn't think he could help them in the top division. Eventually, both Macedonians on Orduspor last year in Muarem and Jovan Kostovski were let go after the season. Muarem will continue his career with Rabotnicki while Kostovski is still looking for a club.
Muarem was born in Macedonia but does have Turkish descent. He was formerly a member of the Macedonian U21 national team but is no longer eligible for the youth teams since he is now 22. He has yet to receive a call up to the senior national team. Muarem was deciding between Rabotnicki and AZAL from Azerbaijan but he decided to return to Rabotnicki. He will be unable to play in the return leg against Anorthosis this Thursday but if Rabotnicki advances to the next round, then Muarem will be eligible to play for the Macedonian club.
Regarding the signing, Rabotnicki manager Goran Petreski told Dnevnik the following, "Muarem trained with us and finds himself in good form, we expect him to help our club but in the meanwhile, I'm going to stick with the same starting lineup that has gotten us to this point."
