Macedonia U19Macedonia U19The Macedonian U19 national team noted their second consecutive 3:0 defeat in Group 6 and is now eliminated from the UEFA Under-19 championships.

In the second match of qualifying in Group 6, Macedonia lost once again, this time 3:0 against Urraine.  The match was played inn Strumica at the Mladost Stadium.  It was the same scoreline as the previous match when Macedonia also lost 3:0 to Switzerland.

Churko opened the scoring for Ukraine in the 11th minute when he successfully converted a penalty after Macedonian defender Donev fouled Kulach inside the area.  It was 1:0 at half-time but Ukraine did not stop there as they added two more goals in the second half.  In 61st minute, Churko delivered a corner for Ukraine but Asani scored a goal into his own net, thus doubling the lead for Ukraine.  In the last minutes of the match, Orlovskiy cemented the win by scoring the third goal for Ukraine.  Macedonia U19 also finished the game with 10 players after Boban Nikolov received two yellow cards in the 86th and 90th minute and was therefore sent off by the referee.

Macedonia played the match with the following line-up:
Dimitrievski (c), Iliev, Donev, Manovski, Asani, Gligorov (46' Nikolov), Babunsku, Alimi (56' Skenderovic), Zdraveski, Jankoski (73' Aleksovski), Kalanoski.

In the other match of the group, Switzerland defeated Kazakhstan 2:0.  Therefore, Group 6 has already been decided as Switzerland and Ukraine will finish in the top two and will advance to the elite round.  Each team has six points apiece while Macedonia and Kazakhstan are at the bottom without a point.

Macedonia U19 will conclude the qualifications on the 15th of November when they face Kazakhstan in Strumica.  The match will only decide which team will finish in third place of the group.
