Robert PevnikRobert PevnikRabotnicki quickly found a replacement for Gjore Jovanovski as the new manager of the club is Slovenian Robert Pevnik.

The 42-year-old coach signed a 6 month contract with Rabotnicki with an option to extend it for an additional two years.  Pevnik was born in the city of Celje and was deployed as a defender during his playing days.  In his career, Robert played for Publikum, Koper, Olimpija, Rudar, Korotan, and Beltinci, where he ended his playing career in 2000.  Since 2007, he has been working as a coach and Pevnik has so far led Drava, Domžale, Olimpija, Rudar, Mura, and Radomlje.  At Rudar, before becoming a manager, he worked as an assistant under well known coach Bojan Prašnikar.  Rabotnicki will be his first foreign adventure.

Pevnik will become the first Slovenian coach to lead a team in the Macedonian First League.  Rabotnicki's president Dragan Popovski is satisfied with the new manager.  For the club's official website, he said the following: "I am satisfied that we have Robert Pevnik as our new manager.  Like we said earlier, we decided to hire a foreigner who has achieved good results with his former teams.  With Pevnik, we share the same goal of producing young and talented players that Rabotnicki possesses.  I want to wish him luck in his new role."
