Today FFM officially confirmed that Miroslav Vajs has been banned for playing football in the next 2 years. He was caught using forbidden substances in the doping test after the First League Round 32 match between Metalurg and his Vardar.

The 33-years-old central defender was among the two Vardar players chosen for testing with the other being winger Filip Petrov. Petrov was clear, while Vajs wasn't. Since his suspension forbids any activity connected to football, it is unknown whether Vajs will continue his career at the age of 35 since his suspension will end on 19 of June 2015.

Vajs is a former Macedonian national team player, being capped 9 times.
