Defender Yani Urdinov is currently in Bulgaria where he is trying to win a contract with Levski.

Yani Urdinov is looking for a new club this summer after his brief stay in Poland with Widzew Łódź.  Urdinov did not make much of an impact as Widzew Łódź was relegated to the second division.  Urdinov dealt with an injury after his first couple of appearances, but also received criticism, when he played, from Widzew Łódź fans for being too offensive minded at the left-back position.

Bulgarian media reported this past Friday that Urdinov has arrived at Levski's training camp where he is holding talks with the club's sporting director.  Yani will train with them for several days, before Levski's coaches and management then decide whether to offer him a contract.

The 23-year-old Urdinov, who was born in Belgium, has played professionally in the Netherlands, Macedonia, Lithuania, Bosnia and Poland during his short career.  He could now be heading to another destination in Bulgaria if Levski opts to sign him.  Yani has also won 3 caps with the senior national team of Macedonia, but his last call-up was nearly two years ago under then manager John Toshack.

UPDATE: This is what Urdinov told us when we asked him about the latest with Levski, "I am waiting for some paperwork, but I passed all the medical tests. My papers will be ready on Monday and I will sign, we agreed everything.  It's just the paperwork."
