Pandev takes a penalty that was savedPandev takes a penalty that was savedGoran Pandev missed a penalty for Galatasaray as he was given a chance by new manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu, Mirko Ivanovski netted a late game winner for CFR Cluj, Agim Ibraimi and Muarem collected one assist apiece for their respective teams, while Ferhan Hasani was finally available for Brøndby following his long-term injury.

Goran Pandev played the opening 45 minutes for Galatasaray before he was substituted during the halftime break by Portuguese attacker Bruma. Pandev was involved in several big moments for his team in the opening half. In the 7th minute, following a hand ball inside the area, Pandev had a huge chance to grab his first goal for Galatasaray, but his penalty was well saved by the opposing keeper. Moments later, Pandev won a free kick after he was fouled in a dangerous position. Team captain Selçuk İnan took the subsequent free kick and managed to score a nice goal. Furthermore, in the 35th minute, Pandev won a penalty when he was brought down in the box. Selçuk İnan, however, was ordered to take the penalty this time, and he converted for his second goal of the half. After the game, Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu said he gave Pandev a chance because he believes in his qualities, but Hamza was not happy with Goran's physical condition (leading to his removal at the half).

Tome Pachovski was not included in the matchday squad by Mechelen as Wouter Biebauw started in goal, while Adrien Faidherbe was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Belgium, Cofidis Cup, Zulte Waregem - Lierse 2:1
Aleksandar Trajkovski started on the bench for Zulte Waregem before he was introduced at the start of the 2nd half to replace Mohamed Messoudi. Trajkovski ended up playing 75 minutes since this match went into extra time (it was 1:1 after 90 minutes). In extra time, Lierse wasted a golden opportunity in the 107th minute when they missed a penalty, while Zulte Waregem managed to seal the win two minutes later when Idrissa Sylla scored a goal from inside the area. Zulte Waregem advanced to the next round of the Belgian Cup.

Besart Abdurahimi was an unused substitute for Lokeren.

Slovenia, Pokal Slovenije, Maribor - Krka 4:2
Agim Ibraimi started for Maribor and played until the 81st minute when he was replaced by Dare Vršič. Ibraimi recorded one assist in the 22nd minute when he played a good ball over the top to Damjan Bohar who did the rest with a calm finish past the Krka keeper. Maribor reached the semi-finals of the Slovenian Cup with this result.

Romania, Cupa României, Mioveni - CFR Cluj 3:4
Mirko Ivanovski opened on the bench for CFR Cluj before he was introduced in the 78th minute to take the spot of Férébory Doré. Ivanovski eventually scored the game winning goal in stoppage time of the 90th minute with a shot from just outside of the area. CFR Cluj overcame a 0:3 deficit to shock Mioveni and advance to the next round of the Romanian Cup.

Denmark, DBU Pokalen, Skovbakken - Brøndby 1:2
Ferhan Hasani was an unused substitute for Brøndby. He was finally available after being out of action for the past three months due to an injury.

Bulgaria, Kupa na Bulgaria, Levski - Montana 4:0
Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Levski as the #2 keeper behind Plamen Iliev. Naumovski has usually played in cup encounters (he conceded two goals in the first leg of this matchup), but the Levski manager opted for Iliev in the return leg. Levski won 4:2 on aggregate to advance to the next round of the Bulgarian Cup.

Kire Ristevski played all 90 minutes for Slavia in defense, while his teammate Dushan Savikj started in attack and played until the 69th minute when he was replaced by Emil Stoev. With this draw, Slavia was eliminated from the domestic cup competition.

Stole Dimitrievski was not summoned in the Granada squad as Oier Olazábal started in goal, while Roberto was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Gjoko Zajkov was not among the 18 players called up by Rennes.

Azerbaijan, Azerbaycan Kuboku, Qarabağ - MOIK 4:2
Muarem Muarem got the start for Qarabağ and played until the 75th minute when he was replaced by Haji Ahmadov. Muarem provided the assist on the second goal for his team in the 8th minute when his cross from the right was volleyed home by Richard Almeida.

Slavcho Georgievski played the full match for Inter Bakı in the comfortable road victory over Shahdag Qusar.

Enis Bardhi started in midfield for Újpest and played all 90 minutes in the heavy defeat against Ferencváros. Bardhi came close to scoring in the 53rd minute, but his free kick from around 20 meters struck the crossbar.

Vladimir Dimitrovski played the entire game for Kerkyra and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the narrow triumph over Panionios.

Marko Simonovski was an unused substitute for Amkar.

Serbia, Lav Kup Srbije, Voždovac - Spartak Subotica 2:1
