The 6-month suspension for Sashko Pandev has been reduced to 4 months.

The brother of Goran Pandev was initially suspended for 6 months after punching an assistant referee named Isa Emurli during the First League match between Bregalnica and Turnovo in Round 13. In the 43rd minute, Pandev scored a goal which brought the lead to the visitors. He then celebrated the goal by provoking the home fans and was reported by the assistant referee which led to him being given a second yellow card, meaning that he was sent off. Pandev did not like this decision and punched the assistant. A brawl ensued that lasted 10 minutes, while his teammates protested the decision. There continued to be arguments between the visiting team and the referees which led to another red card being shown to Mitko Mavrov.

Later, FFM gave Pandev a 6-month suspension for punching the assistant referee, meaning that he could not return to action until Round 28 (scheduled for 3 May). After the player's appeal, however, FFM reduced the suspension to 4 months which now means that he will be available for Turnovo once the second half of the season resumes on 1 March.
