After this loss, Austria Wien dismissed manager Gerald Baumgartner and his top assistant, a Macedonian coach by the name of Renato Gligoroski. Andreas Ogris has been appointed as the interim coach until the end of the season. We'll see how this managerial change affects Shikov.

Adis Jahovikj got the start for Krylia Sovetov and played until the 90th minute when he made way for Sergei Kornilenko, a striker on the Belarus national team. Jahovikj scored the only goal just before halftime with a sliding effort from close range following a free kick. Adis was also shown a yellow card in the 58th minute.

Jovan Kostovski opened on the bench for OH Leuven before he was introduced in the 69th minute to replace Guiseppe Rossini. Just three minutes later, Kostovski was shown a direct red card for a quick exit. Kostovski was fouled and then got up to push the opposing player. It didn't appear to be a heavy push that was worthy of a red card, but the referee came running in and sent him off.

Stole Dimitrievski did not make the squad for the first team of Granada. Instead, Dimitrievski played for Granada B this weekend where he conceded one goal in a 4:1 win against UCAM Murcia.

Kristijan Naumovski played from the start for Dinamo București and conceded one goal in the 88th minute. It came on a long free kick that Naumovski anticipated someone heading, but nobody touched the ball and it reached the back of the net before he could react.
