Agim Ibraimi during the Slovenian derbyAgim Ibraimi during the Slovenian derbyThe midweek period featured more games than usual due to cup encounters and pre-Easter matches in some countries, but it was not very kind to Macedonian internationals.

Austria, ÖFB Samsung Cup, Kapfenberg - Austria Wien 0:2
Vanche Shikov was not included in the matchday squad by Austria Wien. Manager Andreas Ogris, recently appointed, started Patrizio Stronati and Lukas Rotpuller in central defense, while Manuel Ortlechner was on the bench as the #3 CB. If that continues, then Shikov will be on the outside looking in.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Olimpija - Maribor 0:0
Agim Ibraimi played all 90 minutes for Maribor in the goalless draw against Olimpija. As for Aleksandar Lazevski, he was once again absent from the matchday squad. It appears that Lazevski failed to impress Olimpija, leading to the decision for them to go with another option at left-back.

Croatia, Hrvatski Nogometni Kup, Dinamo Zagreb - Rijeka 2:1
Arijan Ademi captained Dinamo Zagreb and played the entire game as he was deemed healthy enough to take part. Dinamo Zagreb will carry a slim lead into the return leg of their semi-final matchup against Rijeka in the Croatian Cup.

Denmark, Superliga, Brøndby - København 0:0
Ferhan Hasani started for Brøndby and played until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Frederik Holst. The biggest derby in Denmark ended without goals. In the 38th minute, Hasani wanted a penalty after going down inside the area, but the referee waved play on.

Denmark, NordicBet Liga, Fredericia - Viborg 1:2
Aleksandar Stankov opened on the bench for Viborg before he was introduced in the 69th minute to replace Elson Hooi, while his teammate and twin brother, Antonio Stankov, was an unused substitute.

Denmark, NordicBet Liga, Viborg - Vendsyssel 0:0
Both Aleksandar Stankov and Antonio Stankov were unused substitutes for Viborg. The club played two games in this midweek period (Monday and Thursday).

Hungary, Magyar Kupa, Videoton - Újpest 1:0
Mirko Ivanovski got the start for Videoton and played until the 64th minute when he made way for Nemanja Nikolić, while Enis Bardhi came off the bench in the 62nd minute for Újpest to replace Filip Stanisavljević. Ivanovski had a huge chance in the 59th minute, but his effort from close range was cleared off the line by a visiting player.

Romania, Liga I, CSMS Iași - Dinamo București 1:0
Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Dinamo București as the #2 keeper behind Traian Marc.

Romania, Liga I, Viitorul - Gaz Metan Mediaș 1:0
Boban Nikolov was not among the 18 players called up by Viitorul. Nikolov did play for the reserve club earlier this week, so it looks like he is close to returning to action.

Romania, Liga I, Botoșani - Concordia 3:0
Hristijan Dragarski was an unused substitute for Concordia.

Switzerland, Schweizer Cup, St. Gallen - Basel 1:3
Muhamed Demiri was a healthy exclusion by St. Gallen who was eliminated from the Swiss Cup with this home loss against Basel.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Drina - Sarajevo 0:0
Krste Velkoski continues to be left out of the matchday squad by Sarajevo. What's more puzzling is that while Sarajevo was playing this game, Velkoski was not even in the same country as he posted photos from Croatia on Instagram. Unless Sarajevo makes a managerial change, it looks like Velkoski is no longer in the plans of the coach.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Borac Banja Luka - Olimpic 0:1
Filip Gligorov started for Olimpic and played until the 63rd minute when he was replaced by Denis Čomor. Olimpic netted the lone goal in the 53rd minute to take home all three points.

Cyprus, Coca-Cola Cup, APOEL - Omonia 3:0
Valmir Nafiu was an unused substitute for APOEL. His team got a decisive win in the first leg of their semi-final matchup against Omonia in the Cypriot Cup.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Jagiellonia Białystok - Wisła Kraków 2:2
Ostoja Stjepanovic was an unused substitute for Wisła Kraków.

Albania, Kupa e Shqipërisë, Tirana - Laçi 0:0
Kire Ristevski played all 90 minutes for Tirana and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw versus Laçi. The return leg of this semi-final matchup will take place next week.

Albania, Kupa e Shqipërisë, Kukësi - Skenderbeu 1:0
Aco Stojkov opened on the bench for Skenderbeu before he was introduced in the 78th minute to take the place of Leonit Abazi.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Crvena Zvezda - Borac Čačak 3:1
Daniel Avramovski began the game on the bench for Crvena Zvezda before he came on in the 75th minute to replace Sasha Stojanovic.

Serbia, Lav Kup Srbije, Voždovac - Čukarički 1:4
Tome Kitanovski started for Voždovac and played until the 71st minute when he received a direct red card for elbowing an opposing player. Voždovac was eliminated from the Serbian Cup with this loss.
