Asani was the hero for VardarAsani was the hero for VardarVardar and Rabotnichki played an entertaining 2:2 draw, Pelister closed the gap on struggling Turnovo to only one point for the 8th position, while Shkendija needed two late goals to overcome a stubborn Sileks defense.

Shkendija utilized two late goals to down Sileks. The home side defended bravely for over 75 minutes, but fatigue then set in and Shkendija managed to score two goals. Bojan Vručina scored the opener in the 76th minute on a tap-in from close range, while substitute Hristijan Kirovski notched the second goal minutes after being introduced. He made one dribble before slotting a left footed shot past the Sileks keeper. Shkendija looks to have locked up the third spot on the table, since Renova (game in hand) will now need a miracle to overtake that position.

Highlights of the game:

Sileks: Nikov, Timovski, Mickov, Ristevski (29' Dјonov), Janev, Rudan, Jakov, Todorov (79' Marić), Duranski, Nedeljković (70' Velinov), Gorgiev.

Shkendija: Jovanovski, Todorovski, Bejtulai, Polozhani, Abdula, Bojku (71' Selmani), Useini, Alimi (86' Ashkovski), Juffo, Stênio Júnior, Vručina (79' Kirovski).

Bregalnica, meanwhile, piled more misery on Turnovo by recorded a 2:1 victory. Goals by Stefan Ristovski (the other one) and Goran Zdravkov extended Bregalnica's string of good results. For Turnovo, Gjorgji Tanushev was able to snap Filip Gachevski's long streak without conceding a goal when he found the back of the net in the 25th minute. Still, that goal was not enough as Turnovo lost yet another match.

The loss by Turnovo was welcome news to Pelister who took care of business by beating last placed Teteks 2:0. Therefore, Pelister now trails 8th ranked Turnovo by only one point with four rounds still remaining in the relegation play-off. That is important since Pelister wants to get out of that 9th spot since it leads to direct relegation. Petar Ljamchevski and Igor Stanojević netted the goals for Pelister in this triumph over Teteks.

Vardar and Rabotnichki played an entertaining game in Skopje. Rabotnichki looked a lot more dangerous and took a deserving lead in the 25th minute when Chuma Anene slotted a shot past Pachovski after receiving a good through ball. Vardar's problems expanded even more since two of their starting defenders, Dino Najdoski and Hovhannes Hambardzumyan, had to leave due to injuries, all by the 30th minute. At halftime, Rabotnichki maintained its 1:0 lead as Vardar fans booed their team. The 2nd half saw a drastic turn of events. Jasir Asani, who came on for the injured Hambardzumyan, scored two goals to give Vardar a 2:1 lead, the second coming in the 75th minute on a rebound opportunity. That result, if it stood, would have given Vardar the league title, but it wasn't meant to be on Wednesday. Just like Asani, Anene also notched his second goal when he sent his effort to the back of the net following a corner kick. Rabotnichki then dominated the final 10 minutes, but Tome Pachovski saved all of their efforts to keep the game tied at 2:2. In the end, Vardar will take this result as they remained six points ahead of Rabotnichki.

Vardar: Pachovski, Hambardzumyan (10' Asani), Grncharov, Najdoski (30' Ljamchevski), Popov, Spirovski, Gligorov, Despotovski (72' Ibričić), Grozdanoski, P. Petkovski, Blazhevski.

Rabotnichki: Bozhinovski, Siljanovski, Velkovski, Ilievski, Cikarski, Petroviкј, Vujčić, Sahiti (70' Markoski), Anene, Altiparmakovski, Ilijoski.

In the final game of the round, played today since Teteks and Metalurg share the same venue for the time being, Renova was able to squeak past Metalurg 2:1 on the road. Izair Emini opened the scoring in the 35th minute via a converted penalty. That lead stood until the 64th minute when young Metalurg striker Blagoja Naumovski tied the game at 1:1. Renova, however, would have the last laugh as substitute Blagojche Markoski got on the scoresheet minutes after being introduced. He grabbed the match winner in the 80th minute.
