Nikola Jakimovski and Dejan Peshevski will not be retained by Varese and Koper, respectively, making them free agents.

Both Nikola Jakimovski and Dejan Peshevski joined their now former clubs this past winter. Jakimovski signed with Varese in Italy's second division, while Peshevski joined Koper in Slovenia's top division.

Following the end of the regular season in the Serie B competition, Jakimovski departed Varese, a team that was relegated after finishing in last place. Jakimovski scored one goal in ten league appearances for Varese, his goal coming directly from a free kick. Before leaving Italy, Jakimovski was handed a Varese jersey with the signatures of the players and coaches.

Peshevski, meanwhile, failed to score a goal in his 11 league appearances for Koper. Dejan was signed by Koper after initially being on trial. He scored several goals during his trial period, but he could not replicate that form in league matches. Thus, the decision was made to release him.

Koper has one game remaining this season, later today against Maribor, but Peshevski will not be with the team. He has already left Slovenia. Koper will be participating in the Europa League qualifications this summer (by winning the Slovenian Cup), and it was decided that the attacking options must be upgraded. The first step was to move on from Peshevski who was not deemed to possess the quality to help them in that competition.
