The slim hopes of Arijan Ademi possibly recovering from his injury to at least play in the Spain match next Tuesday are over. At today's press conference, manager Ljubinko Drulovic ruled out Ademi. He was unable to train with the team, and Drulovic did not want to take any risks. So, Ademi will continue to rehab from his injury and the expectation is that he will return in about 2-3 weeks.

Besides Ademi, Goran Siljanovski will also be missing after his injury. Stefan Ristovski and Vladica Brdarovski will be the two right-backs at the disposal of Drulovic.

Some video from the press conference:

Drulovic, somewhat surprisingly, did not name a replacement for Ademi. Therefore, he heads into the Luxembourg and Spain qualifiers with only two defensive midfielders, Milovan Petrovic and Nikola Gligorov. Drulovic will be hoping both players avoid injury or suspension over the coming week. The Macedonian coach prefers a 4-2-3-1 formation, so two defensive midfielders are needed. However, Drulovic may only field one defensive midfielder in the Luxembourg fixture, and put someone more attacking minded next to him.
