Vardar and Rabotnichki met for the second time in five days, after the Super Cup fixture this past Wednesday. Vardar won that one in the penalty shootout, and today's rematch was more of the same. Vardar came out on top again and did it in dramatic fashion with a late game winner. Bazhe Ilijoski initially gave Rabotnichki the lead midway through the 1st half with a strong header, but Vardar equalizer just after halftime with a header by Filip Ivanovski. The match seemed headed for a draw, but Vardar had a case for the heroics. Following a free kick in the third minute of stoppage time, the ball found Goran Popov who sent a close range header to the back of the net. With that, Rabotnichki continues to be in terrible form. This is already their fourth loss in just seven league encounters (they have a game in hand).

Hasani now has 10 goals in the opening eight rounds, making him the leading goalscorer in the league.
