Stefan Jevtoski, a member of the Macedonian U19 national team, will begin his international career with Lokomotiv Plovdiv in Bulgaria. He had been training with them since this past Monday, when winter preparations got underway, but no deal was reached until Sunday. Earlier today, Lokomotiv Plovdiv wrote on their website that Jevtoski has agreed to a 3 year deal.

Lokomotiv Plovdiv says that Jevtoski will need to obtain a work permit before he becomes eligible to play. They are in the process of getting that done. At his now new club, Jevtoski will be joined by two other Macedonians in Vancho Trajanov and Zoran Baldovaliev. Those are two veteran players who can serve as mentors for Jevtoski.

Jevtoski was one of those six players that was suspended 6 months by the FFM disciplinary committee. For simply taking a just stand since Metalurg was not fulfilling its obligations (meaning not paying the players' salaries), FFM somehow inexplicably punished the players, not the club. It was an appalling decision to say the least, but Jevtoski has found relief by signing abroad.
