Newcastle had the lead when Benjamin Kantarovski came off the bench in the 62nd minute to strengthen the defense, nevertheless their opponent scored two unanswered goals and thus won the game.

Christopher Naumoff played the whole game on the left wing for Sydney, while Robert Stambolziev opened on the bench and played the second half after substituting Serbian international Milos Ninković. Meanwhile, Ivan Necevski spent all minutes on the bench.

Erdin Demir opened on left-back for the home team and played all minutes in the narrow loss against Standard.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Željezničar - Olimpic 3:1
Vedran Kjosevski once again was the starting goalkeeper for Željezničar and conceded one goal in the win against Olimpic. After 23 rounds his team is on the fifth position of the Bosnian Premijer Liga, but just two points behind third placed FK Sarajevo, so Željezničar is still in the race for a spot in the Europa League qualifications.

Bashkim Kadrii came on for København in the 74th minute to replace Benjamin Verbić, the player who netted the game winner in the 43rd minute.

France, Ligue 1, Troyes - Angers 0:1
19-year-old centre forward Deniz Hümmet made his first start in the Ligue 1 and played until the 60th minute. Unfortunately, his team Troyes lost at home against Angers.

Germany, 2.Bundesliga, Eintracht Braunschweig - Paderborn 2:1
Orhan Ademi played the last half hour for the home side after he took the place of Phillip Tietz. Ademi's team won thanks to two goals scored in the first half.

Greece, Super League, Atromitos - Panetolikos 1:0
Marko Markovski played the whole game in attack for Panetolikos.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Strømsgodset - Haugesund 2:0
Haris Hajradinović made the start for Haugesund and played until the 81st minute when he left the field because of a red card.

Serbia, SuperLiga, Rad - OFK Beograd 1:1
Marko Pavlovski started in attacking midfield for the visitors and played nearly the entire game as he was taken off two minutes from the final whistle.

Slovenia, Prva Liga Telekom Slovenije, Domžale - Krško 2:3
Dejan Trajkovski was an unused substitute for the home team.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Malmö - Norrköping 3:1
Erdal Rakip played from the 73rd minute for Malmö and scored the final goal in the 2nd minute of stoppage time. The midfielder scored a nice one as he cleverly chipped the ball over Macedonian national team goalie David Mitov Nilsson. Rakip's teammate Marko Johansson wasn't called up for this encounter.

AFC Champions League, Sydney - Pohang Steelers 1:0
Robert Stambolziev made a late substitute appearance for Sydney as he came off the bench in the 84th minute. His teammate Ivan Necevski was the reserve goalkeeper, while Christopher Naumoff didn't make Sydney's bench.
