Moment of the second halfMoment of the second halfSileks failed to stay undefeated away in Liechtenstein recording a 3:1 defeat.

Eleven years after their last European adventure, Sileks eventually got back to the international matches. The draw for the first qualifying round of the Europa League paired them with the winner of the Liechtensteiner Cup, Vaduz.

The Macedonian side started the match good, even managed to threat the home goal when Nedeljković fired a nice shot which was saved. In the 36th minute Vaduz broke the dead lock. Kukuruzović had an attempt from distance, Vujanac punched the ball, but Costanzo was the first to grab it and put in the net. Ten minute later the same player doubled the lead after scoring on a header after Zárate sent the ball in the box.

Sileks started the second half with an offensive play which unfortunately did not result with a goal. Nedeljković even tried with a bicycle kick, but the ball was an easy catch for Jehle after hitting a home defender. In the 70th minute Vujanac prevented the hosts from adding a third goal after making a great save on Ciccone's free kick. Eventually Sileks found the back of the net four minutes from time. Nedeljković tried to score with a header, Jehle reacted well but the ball found captain Marjan Mickov who had an easy job scoring on an empty net.

When everyone expected the final whistle, Grippo scored a goal deep into the injury time after a corner kick by Costanzo.

Sileks will now have a tough job in the return leg scheduled for 7 July at 20.00 CET at the National Arena Philip II of Macedon in Skopje.
