2017 U21 EURO play-off draw made

The results of the draw; photo: UEFAThe results of the draw; photo: UEFAThe play-off draw for the last two spots at the 2017 UEFA U21 EURO took place earlier today with four teams fighting to join Macedonia and the others in Poland.

Since Macedonia booked a historic place at the U21 EURO, we are now interested in everything connected to it. Today in Nyon, Switzerland took place the draw for the play-offs featuring the 4 best runners-up in Austria, Norway, Serbia and Spain.

Serbia and Norway compile the first pair, while Austria will have to face Spain. The aggregate winners of the home and away legs will qualify for Poland 2017. The first leg games will be played around November 7, while the return around the 15th the same month (exact dates to be determined shortly).

The host team of Poland together with first time participant Macedonia plus the Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia and Sweden are waiting the play-off to be concluded in order to the final draw to take place on December 1.
