Vardar visited Shkendija and the game began slowly as it was obvious that the main aim for both teams was to end the game without a loss. The breakthrough came in the 36th minute when Stefan Spirovski netted from a free-kick. Goalie Kostadin Zahov looked shaky in that situation. The remainder of the first half was quiet. The second half was dominated by Shkendija, the team from Tetovo had some furious periods, however, none of the chances was used for a goal. The game was decided in the 73rd minute by Macedonian U21 national team member Boban Nikolov. He received a pass from Jonathan Balotelli and scored with a left-footed shot from inside the box. Afterwards, the game was interrupted for a couple of minutes because the Shkendija fans lighted fireworks.

In advance, Bregalnica and Pelister seemed to be an interesting match up, but the game ended in a goalless draw. Certainly, both of the teams hoped for three points out of this game.

As expected, Rabotnichki won their home encounter against Shkupi. The home side scored three goals in a span of just 13 minutes to gain a comfortable 3:0 lead after 58 minutes. The goals were scored by Dushko Trajchevski, Filip Ivanovski and Suad Sahiti. Khalil Lambin netted Shkupi's lone goal one minute from time.

The host had a 1:0 lead at half-time thanks to Trajche Stojkovski's goal directly before the half-time whistle. Five minutes after the break Argjent Gafuri made the equalizer. In the 62nd minute Alen Jasharoski renewed the lead for Makedonija GjP with a converted penalty kick, and in the 88th minute it was the same player who scored the hosts third and final goal.
