Third time this season Vardar came out victorious in the clashes against Shkendija. The derby for the title this time ended in a 3:1 win for the home side with a brace by Juan Felipe. Barseghyan broke the dead lock after half an hour after a mistake by visiting keeper Jovanovski. Ibraimi equalized on 1:1, but in the dying moment of the first half Cuculi brought down Blazhevski in the box and Felipe converted a penalty kick for a new lead.

After the break Shkendija tried to equalize again, but failed. Instead. Felipe cemented the win with a masterpeace free kick goal. Vardar now escaped on plus 7 ahead of Shkendija and seems like the last title hope of the Tetovo based team died today.

Due to the renovation works on their home field in Bitola, Pelister hosted Bregalnica in Ohrid in the lone game played on Saturday.
