The "big" derby match between probably the best two teams in Macedonia, Rabotnicki and Makedonija, the teams who currently hold the cup and league titles, attracted only 300 fans on the National arena Philip II of Macedon. Luckily, the performance by the players on the pitch was not that poor as the number of fans, so the Macedonian football fans who stayed at home and watched the match on TV, saw an interesting match with two goals, many chances, many yellow and one red card.

Makedonija had the first chance on the match when after a mistake by Rabotnicki's defense, Mirko Ivanovski took the ball and went towards the goal, but missed the target. Only two minutes later, Filhio found Dusan Savic in the box and the Macedonian national team striker managed to score and took Rabotnicki in the league.
In the 40th minute Nijaz Lena came through Rabotnicki’s defense and created himself a fantastic opportunity and didn’t miss the chance to equalize the result.

The second half brought much more interesting football and few serious chances. In the 52nd minute Makedonija had a very good chance to take the lead after one corner kick, but Mojsov’s header was blocked from the goal line. Few minutes later Brnjarcevski sent a fantastic long ball forward to Kleckarovski, but the striker missed the goal.
Rabotnicki threatened in the 62nd minute when after a cross from the right side, Pustinjakovic managed to save Bozinovski’s header.
In the 71st minute Kleckarovski passed to Ivanovski in the box, but the goalkeeper Naumovski blocked his shot in to corner.
On six minutes before the end of the match, Rabotnicki was left with 10 men on the pitch after Sekulovski was sent-off, but Makedonija failed to use the advantage in the last minutes and the match ended with 1:1.
