The match-up was billed to feature the two strongest teams on paper this season, but Vardar cruised on their way to a convincing 3:0 victory over Shkendija.  The game was even in the opening 20 minutes, but then Vardar took control and went on to score three goals the rest of the way.  Striker Filip Ivanovski led the way with two goals, while summer signing Artak Dashyan scored the other goal.

Pelister recorded three points with a late strike in the road encounter against Turnovo.  Petar Ljamchevski, who recently celebrated a birthday, gave himself a present in the form of a goal.  His strike came in the 90th minute as Pelister will be ecstatic to depart Turnovo with three hard fought points.

Metalurg, the only club who can't play games at their home venue this season, played a 1:1 draw against Sileks.  Their home stadium failed the final inspection, so they will play at the field in front of FFM's headquarters for the time being.  Dejan Leskaroski netted the lone goal for Metalurg in the 18th minute, while Sileks equalized several minutes later through Nikolcho Gjorgiev.

In the remaining game played today, Bregalnica grabbed a minimal road win over Teteks.  Although Teteks is a club out of the city of Tetovo, their home base this season will be in Skopje.  The Teteks fans are not happy about this, but ownership made the decision to move their home games to Skopje.  Today, Bregalnica recorded their first three points of the campaign with an early goal in the 2nd minute.  Bregalnica was able to maintain that score the rest of the way and return to Shtip as the victorious side.

Yesterday, Renova beat the defending champions Rabotnichki 2:1 with a late goal by Antonio Bujchevski after both teams converted a penalty around the hour mark.
