Hambardzumyan scored on this headerHambardzumyan scored on this headerJust like Rabotnichki, Vardar utilized a late goal this round to beat their opponent, Pelister recorded its first league win in over seven months by downing last placed Teteks, while nothing changed for the teams ranked between 5th and 8th place.

Rabotnichki left it late to once again move within one point of top ranked Vardar for the time being. Rabotnichki was the more aggressive side and controlled possession, but Shkendija proved difficult to break down. They had a lot of players in their own half and keeper Marko Jovanovski made several good saves when he was called up. The game seemed headed for a goalless draw, but then Rabotnichki was given a penalty in stoppage time of the 90th minute. Bazhe Ilijoski's spot kick was saved by Jovanovski, but fellow striker Marjan Altiparmakovski scored an easy goal on the rebound. That goal proved enough to hand Rabotnichki all three points.

Highlights of the game:

Rabotnichki: Efremov, Ilievski, Velkovski, Siljanovski, Trajchevski, Vujčić, Petrovikj, Markoski (87' Tih. Fidanoski), Sahiti (60' Anene), Altiparmakovski, Ilijoski.

Meanwhile, over in Prilep, Pelister hosted Teteks on a neutral venue. The stadium in Bitola is currently undergoing renovations, so Pelister will play home games in Prilep the rest of this season. Pelister finally got a win for the first time in over seven months. Their last triumph came back in September of 2014 when they beat Teteks, the same opponent as today, 3:0. As for this game, Pelister opened the scoring in the 22 minute when Goce Todorovski scored directly from a free kick. Then, just before halftime, defender Metodija Stepanovski made it 2:0 when he scored from close range following a corner kick. Teteks did grab a goal in the 77th minute to make for a nervy finish, but Pelister put the finishing touches in the 90th minute when winter signing Nikola Mitić scored his first goal for Pelister.

The game between Vardar and Renova was a tale of two halves. In the opening half, Vardar had three big chances that they failed to convert. Boban Grncharov attempted a good header that was saved nicely by the Renova keeper, but Filip Ivanovski was the biggest culprit for Vardar. He had two headers that any good striker should turn into goals, but both times he sent the headers wide of the mark. Renova responded with three quality chances of their own early in the 2nd half, but Vardar keeper Tome Pachovski saved his team. Vardar came out looking asleep and Renova nearly made them pay for it. Substitute Filip Petkovski had a good chance for Vardar in the 61st minute, but his header hit the right goalpost. Vardar then wanted a penalty in the 88th minute after Dejan Blazhevski went down, but the referee waved play on. In the last minute of stoppage time, Vardar was rescued thanks to a header by Armenian international Hovhannes Hambardzumyan.

There was no breakthrough in the match between Metalurg and Bregalnica. The visitors from Shtip, in 8th place, remained five points behind the hosts from Skopje. As expected, this was a tense match since both teams knew the consequences of suffering a loss. Thus, both teams defended strongly, not allowing the other side to score.
