Rabotnichki (carrying #11) was eventually drawn to face Rubin Kazan of Russia. The best option looked to be Slovan Liberec, but that wasn't in the cards. So, Rabotnichki will need to get by Rubin Kazan if they want to reach the group stages of the Europa League.

Since Rabotnichki's number was drawn first at the draw, the first leg will be in Skopje on August 20, while the return leg will follow in Kazan on August 27.

Rubin Kazan finished in 5th place last season, but they have opened the 2015-16 campaign with three straight losses. They have yet to score a goal in their opening three rounds.

To reach the play-off round, Rubin got past Sturm Graz (Austria) 4:3 on aggregate.
